THRIVE MAMAH focuses on women & youth entrepreneurship by establishing sustainable income-generating activities.
We promote the production of Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) as a key ingredient in animal feeds - solving the issue of scarcity & high cost of animal feeds for smallholder farmers. BSFL larvae are raised on bio-waste that it upcycles into insect protein which farmers harvest to feed their poultry or fish; or sell to feed manufacturers. The insect excrete & spent substrates – the bi-products of insect rearing are organic fertilizers utilized to increase vegetable yields, an additional income opportunity for farmers.
